Explain how you can plot positive and negative numbers on number line.

You can use zero as a starting point and then plot based on the direction of your number, so say you have a -1. You would plot that -1 to the left of 0 and any other negative numbers you have. Regarding positive numbers, they would all go to the right of zero so if you had to plot +1 you would plot that to the right of zero. I attached a photo to help you :)
